25 Best Trip-hop Albums Of All Time

Zak Ben - Sunday, April 13, 2014

The 90 's were the birthplace of mixing and mingling and ideas from different genres and apparently far between. It is not by chance, in that decade is born and develops the Trip Hop. Black music (Hip Hop, Dub and Soul) smoky Jazz influences mixed and seasoned from House and Techno beats slowed down till you drop, are these gi ingredients of a sound between the kinematic and most fascinating of all time.

In the beginning was the "Wild Bunch", a collective of DJs and electronic experimenters at Bristol in the late 80 's. From that laboratory and from multi-ethnic English town, take a handful of Packers sounds, beautiful female voices and dark beats and rhymes builders stun guns.

What are the first names that come to mind?
No doubt the Massive Attack, the splendor of Portishead and Tricky 's bleakness with imaginative voice of Martina Topley Bird. A non-genre that has given rise to a host of imitators, but at the same time has provided the Foundation for a horizon shimmering and musical influence for years to come.
