The Top 10 Best Books Of All Time

In the last few days on these pages we have proposed with success the lists of the top 10 Best Ways To Lose Weight Fast women and Men . So today we decided to offer you the list of the ten best books of all time. He also spoke to a recent blog post American Open Cultures : the ten books were chosen by a panel of 125 famous writers including Jonathan Franzen, Stephen King, Norman Mailer, Annie Proulx, in short people from a certain level. J. Peder Zane is the gentleman who asked the authors-judges the top10 from which was extracted the final ranking. The results of those interviews is included in the Top Ten , edited by Zane and published in 2007 in the USA, but never in Italy (what a shame).
But as ranking was compiled? Each of the 125 divi respondents were asked to list their top ten in order of preference. Then each first book Prize were awarded 10 points, 9 on the second and so on. And here's the result: for our prestigious voters, the best book ever written is (drum rĂ¹llino) Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. Silver Medal to Madame Bovary by Flaubert. In third place is there again to Tolstoy's war and peace. The other Russian book on the leaderboard is not Dostoevskji-unsuspected absent-but by Anton Chekhov, the complete collection of short stories. Five out of ten books written originally in English, two in French: Besides Flaubert is Recherche by Marcel Proust.But here they are here:
